《来不及说再见》这部动画短片入围了台中国际动画影展，从1849件作品中脱颖而出，将与昂西动画节获奖影片《WickedGirl》等30部国际获奖作品进入「国际短片竞赛」；不了解这部动画的人，会看到它没有离奇的剧情、没有酷炫的特效、更没有大咖的加持，它不过只是台湾公共电视台播出的一个不到三分钟的动画。但了解这部动画的人，都会知道它其实与台湾一年多前的一起非常非常可怕的悲剧有关。如果时光能倒流到2016年3月28日前的话，他们还是在台湾内湖区生活的幸福一家五口。爸爸妈妈养育了四个宝贝，大女儿「小蝌蚪」、二女儿「小灯泡」以及一对双宝「小海豹」和「小鲸鱼」。然而，2016年3月28日，与妈妈一起出行的「小灯泡」遭到了一名精神病患者以极其残忍的手段行凶，年仅4岁的她命丧当场。当天的新闻一出，震惊了两岸，让人又难过又愤怒。有的人开始讨论对于精神病患者的社会政策，有的人在反思家庭教育，有的人开始抗争「废除死刑」……而「小灯泡」的家人还在亲人离世的悲痛中，久久未能痊愈。一年之后，台湾公共电视台顶着被众网友说消费亡者的压力，找到了「小灯泡」的妈妈王婉谕与「小灯泡」的姐姐「小蝌蚪」，邀请姐姐谈谈她如何看待妹妹的死亡。创作团队用了半年多时间联系「小灯泡」妈妈，最后说服「小蝌蚪」参与，完成了这部动画短片。Via.动画趴
