咲（サク）は、『いのちの石碑』活動の中心メンバーだったが、地元の高校を卒業と同時に、ダンサーになる夢を叶える為、上京して1年半になる。映像作家を目指す彼（翔太）も出来て、新しい一歩を踏み出したつもりだったが、偏見の目でみられることを恐れ、自分が被災者であること、母親が未だに行方不明であること…を翔太にも打ち明けられず、生きづらさを感じていた。咲は、もう一度故郷と向き合ってみようと、ドローンカメラを携えた翔太と共に女川への旅を決意するー。「この道を登って避難した」「この体育館で、眠れない夜を過ごした」……ふたたび“あの日”を辿ることで、咲は自分自身の原点と向き合うことになる。そして、町の人々と共に石碑まで登る避難訓練の中、『いのちのつながり』を確信していく。
